Château Gragnos: The Limauge Family's Grand “Garden”

By Florence Guilhem for "Presseagrimed" (January 31, 2023)

"In line with their love for nature, Alain and his wife, Patricia - who has been organizing a plant and garden festival, 'Les Jardins d'Aywiers', near Brussels for over 30 years, decided right away to convert their vineyards to organic farming. For us, it didn't make sense to use chemical products when there are alternatives that work well like organic farming, especially in the South of France due to its climate."

In the Cosmos with the Château de Gragnos

By Mélanie Robaglia for "Terre de vins" (May 4, 2023)

"Bottle under €10 in the cosmos with Château de Gragnos! An astonishing quality-price ratio that propels this estate into another galaxy. The Limauge family, coming from Belgium, took over this piece of paradise in 2021 and converted it to organic from the start. Result: cosmic wines at earthly prices, fruity, spicy, perfectly balanced. An absolute discovery!"

A tiny tour of France's rosés - The flavor of a Saint-Chinian

By Marc Vanhellemont for "Les 5 du Vin" (May 13, 2022)

"The carmine-pink color has a beautiful brilliance that makes the rosé almost luminescent. The nose blends red currant, raspberry, and strawberry—a fragrant trio that makes you want to taste it right away. On the palate, it first delights with its freshness, featuring notes of grapefruit, melon, and pear—aromas complemented by the sweetness of the red berries from the nose, which softens the wine for a moment before spicy notes round out this delightful experience. Our taste buds are left with a pleasant, refreshing sensation, as tangy as a piece of candy we’ve just finished sucking on."

A Rosé? It's our round!

By Fabrice Gil for Quotidien Libre (June 5, 2022)

"The wine from the Château is the product of a family project. A family passionate about nature and the environment, heritage and the history of the places. Here, the wine expresses this love for the Earth and respect for local practices. Château Gragnos produces a magnificent rosé here with a light, delicately fruity color that is refreshingly delightful. A glouglou Rosé that makes you feel at ease during aperitif time".

A Saint-Chinian rosé to pair with spicy summer dishes

By Antonio Mafra for Le Progrès (June 12, 2022)

"Terroir known for its structured and smoky reds in the north, lighter with fruity aromas in the south, this appellation from Hérault is elevating its rosé.

This is evidenced by this cuvée from Château de Gragnos, a 17 ha estate of vines, some over 90 years old, rooted in the terroir of Saint-Chinian. In organic conversion, the estate extends within a setting of about 70 ha of scrubland and forests.

A blend of grenache and mourvèdre, this 2021 vintage captivates with the brilliance of its carmine-reflected color. The nose expresses notes of ripe red fruits, crushed strawberry. This aromatic profile persists on a fresh and tonic palate with a spicy touch in the finish.

These spicy notes pair well with friendly exotic cuisine like couscous or a merguez barbecue. We enjoyed it with a saffron monkfish tail. The perfect pairing".
